According to the Louisiana State Science Benchmarks, “Environmental Education is a process aimed at the development of a literate citizenry that shows concern for the total environment and its associated problems. This goal will be met by developing the knowledge, attitudes, motivation, commitment and skills to work individually and collectively toward the solutions of current problems and the prevention of new ones.” The resources in this booklet are intended to provide aid in teaching these processes. From Recycling its for there future (2007)
